We've literally just had the release of the new MacBook Pros and I can say that it's been *well* worth the wait. Not only have we got some amazing new tech and spec bumps.... we've had a fantastic price reduction which now makes this range incredible value for money.

MacBook Pro...

In the range we still have the entry 15", the mid-level 15" and the top level 17".. BUT.. with new mercury-free, far more power-efficient LED backlit displays in the 15" units. The 17" MacBook Pro comes to the party with an optional upgrade to a high-resolution display.

The standard 1680 x 1050 resolution on the 17" MacBook Pro offers as many pixels as the 20" Apple Cinema Display. By upgrading the display resolution to 1920 x 1200 pixels, you'll enjoy a workspace with 30% more pixels than the standard model, or as many pixels as the 23" Apple Cinema HD Display. It's a great deal more space for palettes and windows, and you can watch 1080 HD video content at full resolution. Very, very nice.

To compliment this, memory can now be increased to a maximum of 4GB, hard drive option upgrades which include 160GB@7200RPM and 250GB@4200RPM, and we have an absolute kicker of a video card in the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT.

Estimated ship times are indicated at between 1 and 2 weeks from Apple but as always please take this with a grain of salt or two!

Personalised upgrade / transfer service...

As an alongside-sales service I am now offering simple painless upgrades. • The new computer system is set-up and your existing & new software is installed.
• Data including emails, files and preferences are transferred into the same location as the old computer.
• Your old computer can even be sold for you and the sale price deducted from your new purchase.
  

Migrating data/software correctly is especially important if you are moving from a PPC to Intel platform Macintosh, done improperly noticeable performance decreases and headaches will occur. Generally speaking clients will not know that a computer change has occurred.
