I've only got one thing to say.. wow. This mornings release went above and beyond!

A brand new iMac...

We'd suspected the iMacs were going to be something pretty amazing but they're unbelievable. This released offering is a completely new form factor (so thin it's got to be seen to be believed!!), huge spec enhancement and an ultra sleek keyboard. Overall it looks like an iPhone on steroids. Apple have also said a very loud farewell to the 17" screen iMac idea.. there are now two different 20" units and also two 24" in the standard range now. (Some 17" units of the previous stock remain available for sale while stocks last.)

Before I go any further, check it out this.....yes, that's the whole computer!

The iMac has been firmly pushed above and beyond a consumer level machine in this release. Now onboard we have a new breed of graphic card fully designed to maximise the new workspace in the form of the ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT and 2600 PRO, up to a 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo Extreme processor available in the 24" machines with a CTO option 1TB of hard drive on the high end, up to 4GB of RAM and FW800 across the board. This really is an incredible machine.

Oh.. and did I mention the gigantic price drop?

Mac Mini!

Mac Mini's have again received another spec bump with revised features including bigger hard drives as standard and faster Intel Core 2 Duo Processors. We were hoping to see more on these from this release but there are rumours circulating that the Mac Mini might be heading out of production, so we'll have to wait and see what happens with this little guy. (Whatever happens it will be a while yet!)

Personalised upgrade / transfer service...
